The End of an Era
It's gone, sold. After ten years of ownership and 860 flying hours, it was time to say goodbye to the Bonanza. In December I was forced to retire at the age of 65, and late last year we bought a sailing boat with the aim of sailing around the world.
We are now dividing our time between the boat and our place in France. We won't start across the Atlantic until the Autumn of 2021 and once we startwe'll be away for three years or so. It's hard to see any opportunities for flying until we get back so the tough but sensible decision was made to sell the aircraft. It sold in two weeks.
I wonder what aircraft we'll own when we finish the circumnavigation? In the meantime, you can follow our sailing adventures at mistralsailing.net
